Hot melt butyl sealant
Butyl Sealant for Insulating Glass Primary Seal Description DJ 818 is a one-part, solvent-free, fog-free, unsulfurized, permanent plastic first sealant based on polyisobutyl for insulating glass. DJ818 keeps plastic and sealing over a wide temperature range and not crack and harden for sealant surface. It has good adhesion to glass, aluminum alloy, zinc plating steel, stainless steel and etc. It could form an excellent humid proof system with elastic sealant.
Application Clean and dry adhesion surface to get rid of dirty, oily things. DJ 818 is applied by special hot-melt butyl extrusion machine. The extrusion condition could be satisfied through temperature and pressure adjustment, for example temperature could be adjusted over the range of 100℃~130℃. The environment temperature should not be lower than 10℃ in application.

Packaging This product should be packed by paper container,6kg/ barrel (diameter 180mm, height 250mm, supply according to customer require) Storage: -10℃~35℃, shelf life of 24 months DJ 818 is not dangerous products and could be transported by train, automobile, ship and airplane. Notes: The relative parameter, specially the application hints, is proposed based on testing and experiments. We don't recommend this document as customer's not necessary to do testing for our product due to different material and application conditions.
